The Train ride was bloody long and at night which was all part of the experience - including almost having my camera and wallet stolen buy a "pretend security guard" in a first class compartment. I would not do it again by train but a nice Highway " that's maintained" would be fine.
IMO with the new place going well there is no reason that they would not consider another in Vietnam. They have already the established relationship with the Govt and Vietnam is certainly in a growth period both internally and with tourism. Another well placed property maybe in the DaNang / Hoi An area "not near the big resorts" would set them up nicely with the massive middle class Chinese Tourists market - who also love to gamble.
