TON is yet another victim of the HotCopper craze syndrome where 1% of the holders make 99% of the available profit, while the remaining 99% (i.e. the johnny-come-latelys) squibble, bite and bicker amongst each other while trying to fight for the remaining 1%, and generally end up on the losing end of the trade due to poor capital management (i.e. holding all the way up to 90c and back down to 35c).

It seems a lot of investors have lost all concept for value and market fundamentals. The warning signs were there when TON failed to rise back towards 90c after continued so-called "high grade intercepts", but the promotion brigade started hailing how well the stock would perform after the metallurgical results, and when that failed to turn the stock they turned to the resource announcement. This thing is absolutely littered with junk holders who either bought in on the hype, bought into the 50c raising, or generally have no idea what they're doing - its yet another example of how a stock performs when it has a contaminated and toxic share registry.
