The big insto's also won't be too bothered by taking a loss. Win some, lose some. If a better opportunity can be found (using a dartboard will probably work) they'll dump and re-invest unemotionally. It's not even the managers' money.
Check out what happened to CDU when M&G, originally hailed as best friend and saviour, dumped in May/June 2013. Prices are down, and staying down.
