Little men imagine that the omnipotent and omnipresent forces which govern our existence may be bargained with, and therefore offended or appeased by the actions of men.
Furthermore, they imagine that although almighty, one would nevertheless need help from such a miserable, conceited man, so insignificant in the scheme of things, yet imagining that he can speak for the almighty.
