There is something a little bit odd here. The off-market trade of 315790 shares was done at a price of 18.99 cents. Say 19 cents. But the shares have only traded a total of 189601 shares at 19 cents since the first 19 cent trade on 7th October. Off-market trades have to comply with very strict rules. Given the number traded off-market far exceeds the total number traded on-market at the same price, it is not a good look. I hate this kind of activity because it attracts the unwanted attention of the Highway Patrol..
I'm sure its all kosher and it is good to see him buying, but I just wish he would treat shareholders with some respect.
The Chairman of Rex Airlines has been buying his profitable company on six occasions recently, supporting a 40% rise in the share price. Such strong director buying is seen by the market as very positive.
None of the recent DCC positives, director buying, good results, seem to be having the slightest effect on the share quotes, volume or price.
