Bdell - unfortunately wrong. They are running at 90TPH rather than 100TPH - this would appear to be their sweet spot. Recoveries have stayed static in % terms at 52% or thereabouts . The pick up in recoveries come 3/15 will come from the introduction of larger baffles in each tank - to be introduced in 2/15 at a cost of approx $250K in total - this will improve recoveries. They are also battling ultra fine slimes at present that they should be through within 2 months. They are recognising and acknowledging the limitations of the plant and feel that whilst the budget is extremely conservative at present that 1000oz per week will be about as good as it will get.
The past week's recoveries are not dissimilar to the 969oz figure printed last week and the 636oz number from week ending 9/10 was due to a planned shut down for maintenance - to be expected for one day per 6 week period going forward.
2miloz stranded refractory ore body located in DR now being discussed - go figure - along with various other offers of ore fro O/S.
The tone of the meeting was surprisingly upbeat - was expecting some really feral commentary and the arrival of some of the non believers from Hot Copper at the meeting. No one showed which I suspect speaks volumes - people are happy to be arm chair critics but when push comes to shove they just can't be bothered to show up.
