You are correct. The Board indicated in the June announcement that details of the offer would be included with the notice of AGM (just released).
There was no mention of the proposed sale as promised. This Board had an obligation to explain why the promised information was not included.
A couple of posters have expressed confidence in the Management and indicated they are proposing to vote "Yes" to the resolutions at the AGM.
My concerns do not relate to the competence of the Board or otherwise. I am concerned about the abysmal communication with shareholders. This is unprofessional and does not instil confidence. Why is this information being withheld? The confidentiality excuse has worn a bit thin in my opinion.
All I am asking for is full and frank disclosure and if there is good reason why this information should remain confidential, then I want to know the reasons why.
Unless this Board can be more upfront and honest with its shareholders (who actually own the company) then I will be voting "No" to all resolutions.
This Board appears to have no understanding of proper process and procedure in relation to its responsibilities to shareholders.
