Marampa mined 2 million tonnes last year and 'had plans' to change production capability to possibly 5.9 million but scaled that back to 5.4 or something like that...max. and 4 point something (I think 4.7 or 4.9) million at the minimum. but they never got that far. So they were planning 5.9 without CFE's Sierra Leone ground. If they were to get this deal thru....it would appear to me that 5.9 is still the max they could change the production to without changing their costs. (upwards).
So with CFE deal they have (will) just increase what is available .....not what they will produce???? OR
are you suggesting that a possible suitor wants a longer mine life...or more possibilities to increase max. output.????? (or both)
Just a question...I know you don't know the answer...but love to hear your thoughts....as they seem clear and considered.
