    I think the chances of Qantas being broken up for scrap are nil.

    I don't know. There is clearly a disconnect between the current share price and what we know of the company. When something does not look right, there is always an explanation, we just don't know what it is yet. I'm actually one of your school, rising trends always attract me, and I love buying new highs. But not in this case, I simply do not have clue what is going on with the share price.

    I do not think it would be broken up for scrap, but the FF division alone is worth a lot. It has just hit $1.60, which is its highest since May 2013 on the way down. I'm expecting some sort of announcement very soon.
