Angola: International Mining Fair starts Today

Luanda - The 5th edition of the International Mining Fair of Angola (FIMA) is kicking off this Thursday at the facilities of Luanda’s International Fair (FILDA), under the motto "Planageo, Prospection, Mining Diversification and Development ".

The fair is being promoted by the Ministry of Geology and Mining in partnership with Luanda International Fair.
The event aims to incentivize the promotion of investments, with the reactivation and re-launching of the diamond production and the mining sector in Angola, as well as the share of knowledge and creation of platform of dialogue at international level, involving the associations of the sectors and active economic stakeholders.
The fair counts on the participation of representatives of Angola, Argentina, Portugal, Egypt, Holland, Germany, Namibia, South Africa, Russia, France and Canada.
