Well of course she should! I doubt that anyone in Australia thinks she should be excused from accountability for her performance as a Senator.
But that should be done without unlawful invasion of her personal privacy and without the conduct of a national kangaroo court by the Murdoch media.
Personally I'd much prefer we convicted everyone associated with the Murdoch media for their collective abuse of their own Media Code of Conduct. But sadly and unlike Tony Abbott's much beloved homeland, in Australia the Murdoch media can evade tax by beating the ATO in our courts, print whatever it likes with absolute impunity and even invade the privacy of whoever it chooses in the Land Downunder.
Welcome to life in Abbott's colonial era, new coal age Australia in which we all read '50 Shades of Grey' before retiring each night, religiously tune into 'Downtown Abbey' and worship knights and dames.
