tb2.. just because discussions are taking place at a conference in no way dictates its not important or convincing.. if you are both attending a conference it is quite normal to piggy back discussions so as to not have to make a second specific trip either just before or after the conference..  we do this all the time when attending conferences and events and have even signed and/or reviewed contracts "on the stand" so to speak.. (not actually on the stand but in the assigned conference rooms)... imo there's nothing more to read into this imvho..

However to me it reads that they will be discussing the "extremely exciting improvements in sensitivity"
