"She is free to vote in whatever way she so chooses,"
That is indeed correct! She can do this the democratic way in the Senate.
Not go on media TV to set herself up as the poor dictatorial Senator from Tasmania, demanding the PM to change the pay increase of the ADF to something she will accept. She does not even have support in her own party for God sakes!
After all Tony Abbott did not set the pay increase, the The Defence Remuneration Tribunal are the ones handling the subject.
Now before we get all "hot and bothered" about the subject, what do they currently get as a salary package?
Well here is a Chaplain.

When you look at the site one would not understand what they actually get paid plus their allowances.
But those of the defense force who go overseas do get paid a considerable sum.
Rightfully so! But should it be all made a "political football"??
After all it all about Jacqui "spitting the dummy", before she reveals her next direction in politics.
If I was Clive Palmer she would be gone overnight.
What Jacqui Lambie needs to understand is, she is not a movie star or the PM of Australia but a first term Senator
learning the ropes. The first thing she should do is, "get a brain"!
cheers
