Good news yes - even with the oil price low, these are cheap wells in Thailand provided they can manage them properly.

To read about increased production from good old Thailand is sort of ironic - how often this used to be a watered out test with production falling by 500 bopd.

Calling the volcanic field now as "igneous" seems to bring some luck. I hope they can manage further with only 2-3% water cut.

This money now is worth many times over if it gives them the confidence to bargain hard with the big players as the Phoenix projects roll out.

No call for those irksome capital raisings.
