Chinese graphite industry says "welcomes" environmental protection measures

News that Heilongjiang and Shandong had suspended production last year rocked the graphite market. However, after a year of inspections by the relevant authorities, the provinces are looking forward to producing historic levels of graphite once again.
Chinese graphite-producing provinces Heilongjiang and Shandong have released statements indicating that their efforts to clean up the graphite industry in the country have been successful......

I've also got some info hot off the press regarding Tesla also. Apparently they are close to choosing and entering agreement with 6 suppliers, and have revealed they have a preference for synthetic graphite first 5 + years of production, then blending with mined graphite on a small basis if needed.
So this flake business might not be all its hyped up to be.
