Really. Had not heard that rumour, but it is relatively easy to confirm. If anybody would like to do some research on this, IDC is held in the Genesis 'Smaller Companies Portfolio', which according to their Q2 2014 Factsheet, has 0.3 percent of assets allocated to PNG out of a total fund size of USD 293 million. The funds one year return was 13.3 percent, and they describe their holdings in IDC as follows: "Indochine Mining's (Papua New Guinea) rollercoaster ride continued, a cash raise contributing to a 65% loss following its 85% gain in Q1". When their next quartely update is released, it should say why they reduced their holdings.
