Merger - my thoughts, page-26

Is it worthwhile for MEO to take on this "baggage"? The question is are MEO shareholders getting the right return out of this deal?
Cash is a major issue in this deal for MEO, the rest leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, apart from the appointment of new management, which many, myself included, have called for.
Just to make an observation - what a difference a month makes in O&G speccies.
From memory I don't recall any poster suggesting that we would be in a merger situation a fortnight ago.
