Not shrill at all Madam, I would agree, but just the sort of response one would expect from an ultra-conservative Aussie fund manager. I remember Gordon Crawford from Capital once saying to me "I love Australian portfolio managers...they are always selling when I want to buy and are always buying when I want to sell" Admittedly, International managers may have different parameters under which they operate, but, the Australian industry is hardly renowned for its' sensible and well-researched risk taking. Like you, I am a little bemused by the re-release of old data, but would merely ascribe the rationale behind this release to meeting ASX guidelines.
Oh, and I guess you have decided not to enter into the debate you started on the value or worth of options as an incentive or otherwise to management? I had the impression that you had another extremely cunning plan up your sleeve.
