jr, I'm setting up a separate account where I have long trades on the S&P, Dow and Tech100 and I want to buffer inevitable downturns.
The VIX is a short term futures contract so I can't use and contango and backwardation mean that EFTs aren't practical.
What could I use, if anything. I don't want anything too complex if possible.
Simply put I am looking for a product that rises as my long trades fall.
