From memory medium and long term prices I think have risen at a faster rate than spot over the last two weeks, although I can't be sure... I just remember them jumping more a few of the days this week
I can't work out why people keep going on about a CR... Paladin will probably just roll the notes at a lower interest rate. I haven't seen the bits someone said about deleveraging, but if spot keeps it's current price... well, remember all in sustaining costs includes depreciation, the company will actuall be generating a fair chunk of cash which they could use to reduce the amount of the notes required, thus decreasing risk for lenders and if the share price rises back to the same levels this time last year.... Well, wouldn't freak me if they Raised 50 in a CR.... But I really think that's the last thing they will actually do
A joint venture in Canada maybe.... If CNCC want to throw say 250 million at us to be involved in Michelin, I'd probably buy more shares on the announcement. But seriously, a CR is so unlikely.
Last thing... Cash costs... Remember They have just replaced the resin, that means the recovery rate will be higher, and assist in lowering average cost. I half expect this quarter will break a record for production with the nice new resin in place
. More production... More money at the current higher spot price coming in, and lower average cash cost per pound
I think a lot of shorts will be starting to cover, and this really will jump over the next week, even if the spot just stays the same... And if it rises more, then it's going to be all on for the PDN share price.... Well, I hope ...
