re: difficult decision Most companies on the ASX have a release date for their quarterlies and half yearlies. These dates are generally set at the start of the financial year. Also, half yearly reports need auditing. These small companies generally don't have their own accountants and auditors so they rely on contracted firms which often have several ASX companies to look after to do their "books" for them. QTK probably hasn't even received the audited half yearly from the accounting firm yet - most of these get released by the accounting firms in the last week before the deadline. The ASX then needs to read and approve the ann. before they release them to the market via an ann. There are around 1700-1800 on the ASX, hence the reason for QTK not always having control of when the ann. comes out.
