GENERAL: ATM: Proposed Listing on ASX

NZX Release: Proposed Listing on ASX
The a2 Milk Company Limited (a2MC) today announced that it has commenced a
process to apply to be listed on ASX. It is expected that the process will
complete during the first quarter of the 2015 calendar year. a2MC intends to
maintain its New Zealand incorporation and listing on the NZX Main Board.
a2MC Managing Director Geoffrey Babidge said, "With a significant part of our
earnings and growth coming from Australia, seeking an ASX listing is a
logical strategic move for the company. Listing on ASX will enable more
Australian investors to participate in the company's growth and will increase
the attractiveness and liquidity of its shares. The board believes that this
will benefit all shareholders."
Mr Babidge confirmed that a2MC would not seek to raise any new capital in
conjunction with the proposed ASX listing.
a2MC has appointed Goldman Sachs New Zealand and DLA Piper Australia to
advise on the proposed ASX listing.
Subject to ASX and board approval, a2MC expects to make further announcements
with respect to the proposed ASX listing in the coming months.
