I dont think there would be a ny "Reason" per-say - if they are doing P&A or final wireline logging, then they would remain on screen. If they have moved and are retrieving the BOP etc, it will be the same as when they left FAN-1 and they will move 100m or so away and bring it back up.
I guess as they are leaving us after the end of SNE-1 there will be a lot of stuff to leave the rig and go back to shore so that the new lessor can move all of there stuff onboard.
Generally though i cant imagine why they would try and hide, they know we are watching with eager eyes.

GLTA and get a good grip on that branch as these suckers are going to try shaking this a couple more times
