FAR will do the utmost to speed up the appraisal and further exploration and I sincerely hope that we will be able to ride the wave of success in Senegal for at least another 2 yrs. with FAR.

P.S. The running traders will regret having left to soon! They will most likely pay back today´s collateral damage through a higher price to get back in.

Good post. I think those words 'enormous', 'stand alone' etc say it all. We have not one but two herds of elephants and we don't know the nos (likely to be bigger) yet.

Re your comment on the running traders and collateral damage; regardless of how insignificant or irrelevant the negative component of the news are (bottom zone) traders will pick on that as that's what day and short term traders do, else how would they make a $. They may get back in thru a higher price, but really FAR's better without them, but we know that's not going to happen. If they do get back in at a higher price, then the next predictable off will be from a higher point that's all.

Re Kenya, CN has already said that will very much depend on the outcome of Senegal, what ever that means. May be they are thinking of off loading Senegal to go to Kenya that way we can have a higher %, tha's my guess. I believe CN is in Sydney selling, so ....

Re TO, I would be surprised (wink nudge!) if some of the Asian syndicates, India or the Chinese CNOOC, are not already looking. At current prices, they can offer 100% premium and will be assured of a success and would still be cheap. CNE or CPO might counter that!

Trade today, we did hit a low, but there is not much on the sell side. I only look at the top 3 lines.
