Foreign workers in Australia who send money back to friends and relatives at home, are hit with horrendous fees that can be as high as 20% of the hard-earned money transferred. Once it becomes more widely known that bitcoin can be transferred free and instantly, the result could be enormous.
I've had some bitcoin, small amount for months now, and regularly transfer it around. It is so easy and quick that I wonder what all the fuss is about. So much so I'm starting to think that all the articles we read about bad guys, security etc, are part of a campaign to discredit it. Not really, but all that is such a diversion from what really matters, ie. simple, cheap transfer of money across borders and the world. Its here now.
