I look at some bottoming stocks Finch . Not a lot but times change with different companies that maybe just sector events will lead to that perhaps and they can become the gems .

I mostly try stick with around forty day periods in a six month chart and briefly look at weekly and monthly .

You can have crosses of fifty day and 200 day averages etc which will lead the market to go sour on the stock .

This is not say they will not turn or overshoot there averages when they do .

They maybe just where fundamentals and technical s meet with pricing ?

Perhaps if more technical traders are in the stock than fundamental or a bigger mix of swingers who are in a stock it may gauge the investment depth possibly?
