In theory it shouldn't have any significant effect.

IMHO it's a neutral to good thing. A sub $20m company with billions of shares is just wrong. There's a psychology thing that says something at 6c must be better than something at 0.6c. I believe there's also a minimum share price that is required before seeking a listing on AIM which is part of the plan for the future.

You will find some arguments that the need to consolidate from a share price of sub 1c suggests a company in trouble, and that can be the catalyst for a little sell off, so the pricing effect theory doesn't always hold for very long.

Having said that I'd expect the impact of real operational news (AWE election/further farm out/Seychelles 3d data/etc. etc.) would be massively more important than any selling triggered by the potential catalyst I referred to.
