I think makattack made some good points, but in this occasion, seems going too far.
ZipTel have never made any claim targeting only executives, IMO, they are targeting everyone going overseas including myself.
I had to turn off roaming and sometimes turn off the mobile to avoid unexpected bulk bills from the telecom. To buy other SIM card or a local SIM, is a good alternative, but could be pain as lots of info is connected the Aussie SIM. Sometimes ago, I made few calls when I was overseas, and was charged at over $2.50 per minute for calling and receiving, Just a rip off. I will use AussieSIM next time travelling overseas, simply, still same number and free to receive calls.

ZipT is also targeting not just 2G networks, not just India, but ALL networks and the WHOLE world.
