I don't think it precludes them - it's more that FDA process is far stricter than Aus clinical trials. My understanding is they'll be refining the Australian process and not want to be seen to be pre-empting decision of FDA by releasing results in full.
I might be wrong - and we'll get an update soon. Time will tell.
