down 10% Friday night...more carnage in energy sector tomorrow. Looks like US60 or thereabouts provides a floor given a lot of the producers can't afford to produce at that level. Maybe US55.
Agree, A4 will be shut in if hasn't already (wouldn't expect mgt to advise, just as they didn't when testing that was due to recommence never did). Expected A4 to be shut in a few weeks ago. Perhaps news tomorrow. So what is CTR left in under that scenario? One or two say an asset though i believe until they fulfil their earn in committments they don't own the asset. Another US5.8m (or thereabouts) to spend on exploration in an environment where oil production isn't profitable? Good luck within financing that - perhaps to unsuspecting shareholders. They will give it a go no doubt. Prospectus coming. So they'll have new acreage and maybe a minority interest in Aztam / Tortugas fields - very plausible. Wonder if Bronze got out at 0.2. Salvage a $100k and write off the tax loss this financial year with a massive windfall floating the education business for $150m.
