Why don't you just put them on ignore (as I am about to do).
They are only trying to justify their short positions, just like we who are long, are expecting the world not to end, they are hoping it will, so they can cash in. Or at least they're hoping to convince you that it will, so you'll panic and sell. If you don't read / respond to their posts, they'll just talk to each other, but if you put them on ignore you won't even see their posts and eventually, without an audience, they'll get the message and go harass someone else.
