The test as to whether any sponsorship or advertising is valid depends its' ability to increase revenue for the company.
Sponsorship of Tour down under and net ball does not increase the revenue of an oil company.
Sports drinks sponsoring the Tour Down Under is appropriate but not an oil company.
Oil Companies don't need to be marketed to the masses because the public are not the customers of BPT.
