Yeah I don't get that sometimes. When there is a run on in a stock that you own, with everybody shorting the thing against your own interests, why wouldn't you recall the stock you have lent. They get sweet FA for lending it and it is costing them big time in their performance when the shorters act on mass. If you still like the position, recall the loan. If you really like the position, buy some stock and then recall the loan. If you no longer like it, sell the position. In all ways the loan is recalled. Ring around your insto mates and get them to do the same - act on mass and protect your clients interests.
