In regards to comments from Twin on this thread earlier in the day re; "Why are they announcing a term sheet? ...ADO has multiple term sheets out yet dont formally announce." - I thought my response was quite adequate/appropriate/fair in regards to the specific topic raised re formal agreements and formal partnerships.
We have a number of OBJ holders invested in both companies here - I can appreciate this in addition to the attraction of ADO even though I don't hold any position in that company. The fact that neither OBJ or ADO are developing drugs is one of the major attraction features for many investors in the biotech space. Sure, the rewards for a successful drug discovery player can be huge, but the significantly large number of littered corpses across the ASX biotech graveyard tells a very grim tale... Add to this a major paradigm shift away from the long term expensive cost and risks associated to new drug development being led by big pharma, as witnessed in M&A activities over more recent times, and those slim opportunities that once existed for hundreds of ASX biotech hopefuls, have all but disappeared.
On a lighter note, Smilez - I recently decided to expand my portfolio by taking a (small) position in a third company that I have been watching since May 2013 when it was trading @ $0.08c. After contributing a couple of 'positive' thoughts on this particular company forum while it was trading @ $0.24c, another poster commented that he/she found it EXTRAORDINARY that I did not buy XXX when it was trading @ $0.08c (+ 200%)
After informing the poster that my two existing holdings have both out-performed XXX since May 2013...
AHZ: + 262.07% OBJ: + 763.64%
... another poster then politely responded with this message...
Although I felt it was inappropriate to respond with an honest answer, and accordingly decided not to reply to the poster on that particular forum, my dilemma to this question still haunts me every day...
... Why haven't I sold out of AHZ and dumped my new position in XXX to buy more OBJ?
