Good definition lunchalot. I would add that racism also depends on stereotypes. Whole groups of individuals are tagged indiscriminately with a particular undesirable characteristic. eg as on this site quite often we see "no Mu slim can be trusted"
Sure there are some Mu slims who may not be trustworthy just as some Christians or atheists may not be trustworthy but to tag ALL of a group with such a characteristic becomes racist.
