News: Monterey Mining to make acquisition

    Monterey Mining (ASX:MRY) has been granted an ASX trading halt in relation to an acquisition transaction.

    The halt will last until the earlier of the announcement being made or the start of trade on Monday, 8 December 2014.

    In the September quarter, the company started follow up desktop studies on its Pepin & Guimba permits in Burkina Faso.

    This involved further analysis of previous drill data and interpretation of results at the Pepin permit as well as a regional, broad scale mapping and sampling program over the previously un-explored Guimba permit.
