Comm of drilling programs at Claypan Dam & Wallbrook Proj

The Company informs the market that significant drilling programs
are commencing at the Claypan Dam and Wallbrook Projects this
Monday, 24th March, 2003.

Both projects have potential to host significant additional gold
resources and warrant continued aggressive exploration. The Company
is targeting Kanowna Belle style mineralisation at Claypan Dam and
large tonnage resources at Wallbrook.

CLAYPAN DAM

A Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program of approximately 800
metres is planned to test for primary high grade mineralisation on
the Kanowna Shear. Significant results intersected in the last
drilling program which returned 5 metres at 6 grams per tonne Au from
he bottom of hole, will be a focus for this drilling. Holes are
planned to test the shear to depths of 150 metres.

The Company is targeting this drilling to define the source of the
remobilized gold present in the supergene resources of Crossroads and
the Kanowna Shear Prospects. The Company believes there is strong
potential for the discovery of primary mineralization similar in
style to the Kanowna Belle mine, located approximately 7 kilometres
south east of Claypan Dam, adjacent to the Kanowna Shear.

WALLBROOK

An RC drilling campaign of approximately 2000 metres has been
designed at Wallbrook primarily to increase drill coverage which will
allow resource modelling of the Redbrook prospect. The company is
confident that Redbrook will increase the total resource inventory
for Wallbrook significantly.
