I think Bendigo Bank is the 5th /6th biggest bank in Australia. Are they too expensive,
I don't think so pre GFC they were around $15/ share ANZ reached $28/share. With the
report soon to possibly include that the big 4 have to source more funds as security that should make BEN a stock of interest. The purpose of the community bank is a moral one eg the Wentworth Community Bank has contributed over $2million $'s over 13 years to various community groups . Not bad in a sector not known for high moral standing.
