A few tail winds seem to be there for QBE. The stronger US dollar and the strength of the US economy evident in the most recent jobs report. Unemployment is now below 6% over there with interest rate rises likely over there. I recall that US interest rate rises are said to be very positive for QBE...can anyone recall the amount that each interest rate rise is supposed to lift the QBE bottom line?
