Vertigo, these numbers (as warned by the ABS) are not reliable. They only capture those qualifying for first home buyer grants. So in NSW for example unless a FHB is purchasing a brand new property they are not included in these figures. Most FHB are certainly not in a position to be purchasing a brand new house or apartment.
