Yeah good post and I do agree with you on a number of fronts. Yes. I do not like Joycey and I do not think much of his management skills either, that is s clear. Having said that, I am willing to concede that things have turned around just recently and of course I am happy for that to be the case. If QF is making money and the investors are making money that is a great scenario.

Not sure about your cheap shot comment, it was not intended to be from my side of the fence. I was simply referring to the fact that QF's single largest cost is fuel and as the oil prices have dropped significantly, this is key to QF being able to reduce costs. I still stand by the slash and burn comment though. By that. I am saying that Joyce and co. Have hardly come up with any new, game changer approaches or ideas on running the airline. Cost reductions are largely through staff reductions and cuts to services.

Re billion $$$ profits, yes I agree, they may be closer than I think. I do hope so. FYI, I have always believed that QF is a great company, with staff and management on the same page, the sky is the limit. We have not yet reached that page, there are many bridges to build and repair. That should be the priority of Mr Joyce and if we got back to a point where management and workers are working together, Qantas would soar!
