Surfrat - do you think any disaffected souls might have wanted those planes to be turned back due to those electrical faults? Maybe trying to take the shine off the news? I could imagine it could be quite easy to decide not to notice a fault that would not be deadly. It is on the record that certain building and contruction unions have arranged worse in Melbourne to get at somebody.
