IMO, it's clear the short-sellers are in control right now given the likelihood of the SP falling to 26c in the near term. A 90pt drop on the ASX200 doesn't help either.

Depending on who you believe, supply is projected to fall below demand post 2020. Contract prices need to rise in order for investment money to flow into new mining operations. Current producers are set to benefit most especially in the case of PDN because as operating expenses are reduced profit margins increase.

Sure, the near term looks crap!!! But investing is a game of patience, and the big money is made in times like this.

Short all you like, but just remember to get out when the tide turns.
