    Hey Sparky, I don't disagree with your comments. The original point was that that is takes more than military to win a war. I'm concerned about the parallels between the V war and Iraq with USA not clearly defining their military objectives or what it needs to acheive to declare victory. Like V, it is a concern that people are talking about exit strategies rather than what has to be acheived before they leave. The V war was wound down by early 1975 with most US forces gone BUT, they had given up and were under enormous domestic pressure to get the troops home. If this happens in Iraq there will be a hell of a mess that will take decades to fix.
