surfrat, your thing about QF picking up the Jetstar fuel tab is only relevant in the deconsolidated accounts. It makes NIL difference to the Qantas group result. It may affect the theoretical Jetstar result if Qantas central is contributing to the tab but that is all. As far as I am concerned the only books that count for me are the consolidated results. It is a little like starting to discuss the profitability of individual routes, great if you are there but not really on my radar. I trust Qantas to be over all that.
