Cash preservation is needed for sure ...and I hope they are seriously doing that...but I beg to differ on the oil analysis you have supplied. For starters you and I both know that "analysts" generally have some agenda when opening their mouths....and at the end of the day do they EVER get anything right??
I think that its not a supply /demand issue, the world didn't get to September and suddenly use less fuel and supply suddenly rocket. A 40% drop in three months has other things behind it and those same things can quickly be reversed.
I too invested for UCG and I still believe in the technology for creating low cost energy from stranded coal in far flung places initially and then with even cheaper economy of scales it will end up being a major energy provider both with gas and GTL.
