Xero Limited (ASX:XRO, NZE:XRO) has achieved a key milestone with more than 400,000 small business customers operating on its cloud platform.The New Zealand based online accounting company reports it processed $NZ250 billion, or about $AUD235 billion, worth of transactions this year.CEO Rod Drury says the momentum is not only a clear vote for platforms born and bred in the Cloud but also for those optimised for mobile devices.Mr Drury advises Xero has significantly invested in its platform over the year which is becoming critical infrastructure in the company’s core markets.Xero reported a net loss of $21.81 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
