The new patent applications suggest there may be a stouch or two in the making with other high altitude/wide area imagery systems.
It also evidences that these guys are not standing still on the technology front.
I would, however, like to see them continue to advance their efforts/capabilities into the oblique capture/3D stitching part of their GIS business which I see as being one of their few technical/product weaknesses. Being able to measure actual height of objects, with accuracy, would complete and substantially expand the toolbox.
