    It hurts all importers. I don't see how it will affect them in terms of competition. If you ask me, a falling AUD may even help.

    It will push up the price of all imported goods which will push some people who used to buy

    Lets classify goods as;
    - Budget (ie, TRS)
    -mid class
    - high class

    There will be movement from people who used to buy 'mid class' items but can now only afford 'budget' items due to the increase cost. Add in to that real wage deflation (fighting against goods inflation) and you have even more people moving from 'High Class' to 'mid class' and from 'mid class' to 'budget'.

    The pool of people who buy 'budget' will only grow with a decreasing AUD and wage stagnation (assuming overall inflation remains higher than wage growth - a very likely scenario for several years to come).

    Im having a serious look at this stock now.
