Jukes. Always interesting to review and go back over stuff as any new information arrives. As you have noted the failures of others and CWE internal issues or inability to deploy all add to the mix. We have seen changes in direction with original bold statements or them being a energy producer of scale to now the reality of they will supply technology if their system meets the grade to a energy provider or anyone willing to finance the array . When it is clear that they have a competitive product and are turning into a business not a research organisation it will turn into a investment possibility. To see if they are in the "A league" we need to see some audited numbers comparable to other systems and costings not just visions from management of what they believe in order to sell the next capital raising while they get out of short pants research lab and implement real world data.
So many other companies will fail ( as could CWE) or never get off the ground but there are so many circumstances for those failures and the underlying ideas or technology are not the cause in a lot of cases. Finance , politics and management are key factors. A lot of ideas will be born again once the industry gets going. A lot of ideas will be funded by govt even if they are uneconomical for long periods.
Trying to find the first large scale customer is the highest risk as there is a leap of faith required even after all the testing.
have a great Chrissy period everyone and hope everyones investments in the new year turn out well.
